Today HORHIN joined other development partners working in the area of emergency response for the monthly Yobe Humanitarian coordination forum meeting.
The meeting which was under the auspices of UNOCHA was held at the conference hall of World Food Program(WFP) and presided over by the Executive Secretary Yobe State Emergency Management Agency Dr Mohammed Goje.
During the meeting security challenges were reviewed by partners.
Also discussed was challenges encountered in the haulage of humanitarian materials across the nooks and crannies of Yobe State.
The meeting afforded non state actors avenue to share notes on field experiences and an interface opportunity in other to avoid duplications during intervention activities.
The HORHIN team was represented by one of their Field Officer, Miss Henrietta Dalut.
